VPAR Confirmed as Official Scoring Partner at the WCGC England and Scotland Final 2014

VPAR Live Golf Scoring is to partner the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) at this year’s England and Scotland Finals being held on the Ailsa course at Turnberry.  Elysian Golf is the new WCGC license holder extending its reach further into the corporate sector on an international scale and specialises in delivering "golfing dreams" for individuals, small groups and corporate clients.

The World Corporate Golf Challenge takes place in more than 20 countries worldwide - to date over 1 million golfers have taken part since its inception in 1993.  The winners of each National Final will go on to represent their company and country at the World Final in 2015.

VPAR’s interactive, game-changing technology provides players with real-time leaderboards on the course, in the clubhouse and live online.  Their technology is trusted by golf clubs and event organisers across 20 countries and five continents.  VPAR supplies over 850 events each year ranging from Corporate Golf Days, Charity Golf Days, Club Championships, Amateur and Pro Am Tournaments.  VPAR was also recognised this year at the Sports Technology Awards, winning ‘Best Sports App’.

Jeremy Gray, Sales Director, VPAR Live Golf Scoring said, “VPAR has been working with the WCGC World Final for the last few years as their global scoring partner.  We are thrilled to be at the England and Scotland Final which is being taken to a whole new level on the famous Turnberry course.”

David Bailey, Chairman of Elysian Golf, said “Building on VPAR’s experience with the World Corporate Golf Challenge World Final, as we are also running a Stableford Points event, VPAR is the ideal Official Scoring Partner for our Scotland and England National Finals.  Players, spectators and colleagues back in the office will have access to live scoring during the tournament, adding to the excitement and pressure as the leaderboards develop over the National Finals."
