The Oaks Golf Club lies in the Lazio countryside 40 km from Rome. The trail, built by the then President of the Italian Golf Federation, Joseph Silva, was opened in 1990.
It 'was immediately praised for the way it was exploited the land on which it stands, for the use of a natural ditch that crosses the horseshoe, the quantity and the beauty of oak trees that stand in more than 70 acres bordering the Golf Club
The Oaks Golf Club hosted the 37th edition of the 1991 World Cup of Golf.
